In the memory of our lovers

When I met Alex, I was at the lowest point of my life. I was just 13, living under bridges in Canada, with no food, no home, and no one to talk to. Then I found him—or maybe he found me. He was a German Shepherd, and like me, he looked broken. His leg was messed up, his tail was cut, and he didn’t trust anyone. Honestly, I didn’t blame him.

At first, he was aggressive. He growled whenever I got close. But I saw something in him—something that reminded me of myself. We were both alone, both just trying to survive. I started leaving him scraps of food I found. Little by little, he stopped growling and started coming closer. One day, he just sat beside me, and from that moment, we were inseparable.

Alex became my family. He protected me, kept me warm on cold nights, and made me feel like I wasn’t completely invisible to the world. For the first time in my life, I felt like I had a reason to keep going. We had one amazing year together—just me and him against the world.

But then, one morning, he didn’t wake up. I tried to shake him awake, but he was gone. Just like that. I cried so hard that day because it wasn’t just Alex that died—it felt like I’d lost my last bit of hope. I was alone again, and this time it hit even harder.

Even now, years later, I think about Alex all the time. He taught me so much about love, loyalty, and not giving up—even when everything feels impossible. And that’s why I created something to honor him and all the pets out there who mean the world to us.

I make pet-themed magnets to help people remember their furry friends. Whether it’s a dog, a cat, or any pet that changed your life, these magnets are a way to keep them close, even after they’re gone.

If you’ve ever had a pet who was more than just an animal—if they were your family, your best friend—then I hope you’ll check them out. These magnets aren’t just for your fridge; they’re for your heart.

But this store isn’t just about making a profit. I’ve built it because I want to do something bigger. I want to create a place for dogs like Alex—dogs who don’t have a home, who’ve been abandoned and hurt, who are just trying to survive like he was.

Not just a shelter that feels like a prison, but an actual home. A place where dogs can run, play, and heal. A place where they’re loved and cared for until they find their forever families.

Every magnet you buy helps me get one step closer to that dream. Alex saved me when I needed it the most, and now I want to save others like him. Together, we can give these dogs the life they deserve—a life filled with love, hope, and second chances.

If you believe in that dream too, I hope you’ll support this mission. Let’s build something beautiful together, in memory of Alex and all the pets who’ve been there for us when no one else was.
